Project target groups include:

  • Smart cities DevOps professionals, either unemployed or employed at large cities: more than 700 will use the MOOC (open to everyone) while 100 will enroll in the specialized training course. They will improve their digital and transferrable competences, gain work experience, update their technical skills, keep up with new and ongoing developments. At the same time they will achieve ROI of education, gain an international perspective of the sector and exchange experiences with peers which will increase their employability and career prospects. This will improve the conditions for innovation, growth and creativity. Smart cities DevOps professionals will be addressed via sectoral organizations and smart cities associations.
  • Sectoral organizations and smart cities associations: the project aims to improve their impact at local and national levels, leading to increased membership and improved services to members, establishing international partnerships, increasing visibility at European level and timely adaptation to future changes using the exploitation roadmaps. Such actors are already involved and via network membership and international events, a large increase is expected.
  • VET providers: they will gain strategic advantage by capitalizing on competence needs and training offers at national and European level. This will enable them to adapt to real local and national sectoral and labour market needs, establish ties with smart cities and engage in transnational comparative curricula exchange, thus broadening learner base, gain access to a repository of digital OERs and innovative tools and methodologies in the delivery of training, thus enriching their training offer in the cultural sector.
  • Authorities: European authorities will gain important information for ESCO, eCF, EQF, ECVET and EQAVET in a dynamically evolving sector, while national authorities will also gain input for the formulation/adaptation of policies and practices at a national level. They will be involved via targeted special events.
  • Policy makers, employment and certification organizations: they will become timely aware of emerging job role profiles, be informed about the sectoral perspectives which may prove useful for the development of NQF, ECVET and EQAVET at national level and for the uptake of flexible pathways and recognition practices. Will be involved via targeted special events.
  • General public: they will benefit from increased quality of services and user experience.
