The REAL CORP 2020 conference titled “SHAPING URBAN CHANGE LIVABLE CITY REGIONS FOR THE 21ST CENTURY” was held online during 15-18 September 2020.
The 25th International Conference on Urban Planning and Regional Development in the Information Society – 150 YEARS of RWTH AACHEN UNIVERSITY gathered about 60 participants online, including Ina Scharrenbach, Minister for ‘Heimat’, Communal Issues, Construction and Emancipation of the County Northrhine Westfalia, Lord Mayor of Aachen Dr. Schmeer, senior academics, CORP Smart City Association, planners and managers of metropolitan issues, representatives of Smart City Agencies, City Development Agencies, city administrators, German City and Community Association.
Prof. Dr. Hans Rüdiger Kaufmann from our partner University of Applied Management Studies in Mannheim, delivered a keynote speech on 15 September ” State of the Art and Upcoming Urban (Planning) Technologies” and presented a reviewed conference paper on 16 September within Channel 1: Real Smart Cities. Learn more about the paper “DevOps Competences for Smart City Administrators“, which was prepared by the consortium of project partners and was highly appreciated both by individual participants and by the track chair.
Information about the project was disseminated by the Conference Organiser globally via a number of channels, including the conference brochure and Social Media.
Participants who expressed interest in co-operation with the project, were followed up and invited to the pioneering and testing of the initial SmarDevOps modules.
